Yes, Jigme is hugely missed for his hearty laugh, generous heart, dogged determination towards his cause and sweet vulnerability in the face of his willingness to grow & lead. Great man, great loss.

What a birthday it was (Feb. 23)…and what an incredible journey the whole Walk For Tibet Florida process has been. No one predicted our tragic loss, but what Jigme spurred was a torrent of heartfelt support from around the world that we also encountered daily on our walk. People were just WAITING to be asked to do good and help out.
New developments are afoot, and meanwhile we continue the step by step approach to World Peace, person by person, kindness by kindness.
And how cool was it that Jim & Brian, new Empire members, ended up on the whole journey with me. We are bonded forever.

You were an early angel trendsetter, and we are forever grateful. Our band of walkers expanded to nearly 20 overnighters and over 50 on the Final Mile from downtown West Palm Beach to the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden for the very moving Memorial Tribute and Walk completion Service with around 100 in attendance.
While the loss still stings deeply, Jigme’s efforts and spirit put into play many amazing actions and developments. More to come. Do stay in touch!

We start tomorrow (2/19) from Cape Canaveral and plan to walk about 20-25 miles/day to West Palm Beach by 2/25 evening. Then hold what will now be a memorial service and tributre to Jigme Norbu and the Walk for Tibet movement will be at the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden 2/26, 1-3pm, park at Unity Church next door please.. Do join as you can, but maybe the end days or event at the gardens would be lovely.

I know we spoke in the early hours. While the shock and sadness remain profound, we are carrying on with the Walk. Our inner circle of walkers has grown from an initial 3 to 12 tomorrow that we know of, and many more have said they will walk towards the destination of West Palm Beach including 2 of Jigme’s young sons and his brother Kunga who will join Wednesday by noon. Let me know if you wish to speak again. We now have 5 Tibetans with us and more coming.
